Still in barrel, the 2013 Crozes Hermitage was more firm and tannic than when I tasted it last year. Offering solid complexity in its peppery herbs, saddle leather, tapenade, and red and black fruits, it hits the palate with medium-bodied richness, moderate concentration and firm tannin.
