BETTANE+DESSEAUVE

Score : 17.5/20

Plus richement élevé mais aussi plus de profondeur que l’autre hermitage, savoureux et ample, avec l’équilibre digeste et la persistance des grands hermitages blancs, un vin de plats en sauce.

JEB DUNNUCK

Score : 96

The 2016 Hermitage Ex Voto Blanc saw the same élevage of new barrels, and while bottled, it won’t be released for another year. It’s a thrilling white that ranks up there with the best of the appellation, including Chapoutier’s single vineyards as well as the Jean-Louis Chaves magical Hermitage Blanc. This beauty shows the more elegant, seamless style of the vintage, yet it’s going to put on weight with time in bottle. Boasting sensational notes of white peach, pineapple, quince, and white truffle, it has terrific concentration, integrated acidity, and a fabulous finish.

WINE ADVOCATE

Score : (94 - 97)

The 2016 Hermitage Ex Voto Blanc should prove to be a terrific wine once it’s bottled next year. It certainly looks great out of barrel, loaded with richness yet weightless at the same time, marked by toast but balanced by fruit and with a plush texture and lengthy finish.
