Fresh and lively, with enough ripe fruit to carry the day. Cassis, black currant, floral, game and grilled meat flavors; an intriguing ensemble. Lingering finish suggests a food-friendly wine. Drink now through 2006. 13,330 cases made. Per Henrick Mansson.

Full red. Complex aromas of strawberry, redcurrant and pepper, with a hint of berry skin. Tangy and precise, with juicy, vibrant red berry and pepper flavors and excellent cut. Not hugely complex but this could serve as wine-class Crozes. Should make a very flexible dinner-table wine. Stephen Tanzer.
