Vintages 2011

Wine Advocate #210 - Dec 2013

Score : 92

Along the same lines, and the same blend/elevage, the 2011 Hermitage Blanc (there was no Ex-Voto produced in the vintage) is a rich, voluptuously textured effort that has knockout purity and focus. Citrus blossom, vanilla creme, white currants and quince all flow to a full-bodied Hermitage Blanc that has great acidity and serious length on the finish. As with the 2010, it will drink nicely for over a decade. Jeb Dunnuck.

Wine Spectator - Issue: Oct 15, 2014

Score: 95

Viscous in feel, featuring citrus and hazelnut oil notes that weave around a core of white peach, verbena, creamed Cavaillon melon and glazed pear flavors. Long and honeyed through the finish, with a thread of bitter almond offsetting the opulence. Drink now through 2029. 2,000 cases made. James Molesworth.

Gault & Millau

Score : 16,5/20
