The 2008 Crozes-Hermitage Blanc (95% Marsanne and 5% Roussanne) is put through full malolactic fermentation and is aged in neutral wood barrels (25%) and stainless steel (75%). It reveals lots of citrus oil and nectarine notes intermixed with hints of spice and earth. This medium-bodied white is meant to be drunk over the next several years. Robert Parker.

Plump peach, roasted macadamia nut, coconut and melon peel notes glide through the round, fresh finish. Drink now. 3,800 cases made. James Molesworth.

Light gold. Nervy, mineral-driven aromas of lemongrass, lime and green apple, with a bright note of talc. Racy citrus flavors are sharply focused and pure, with good mineral cut and a late note of floral honey. Misses some of the loose-knit character that often plagues the whites of this appellation and finishes with zesty lemon and lime notes and very good persistence. Josh Raynolds
