A structured, full-bodied wine with the elegant tannins characteristic of careful barrel ageing. A great wine which deserves patient bottle ageing.

Tasting

Eye : Deep ruby red with violet tinges.
Nose : Spices, red berries and delicate oak aromas.
Palate : A powerful and tannic wine. Aromas of blackcurrant buds and vanilla. Licorice and spicy finish.
Overall : A racy and seductive wine. A perfect wine for putting down.

The 2009 Hermitage possesses a dense purple color as well as lots of creme de cassis, camphor and acacia flowers. Deep, rich and full-bodied, this massive blockbuster will need a decade of cellaring after its release. Robert Parker.

Notes de myrtilles, très équilibré pour l'’année, complet et largement supérieur dans sa qualité d’élevage à des vins assemblés plus au sud !

Grand seigneur, cet Hermitage n'oublie pas d'être sauvage en saveurs comme en tanins, tout en ayant retenu du Mistral sa noble fraîcheur. Robuste, alerte tout en étant fumant d'une rage d'en découdre dans quelques années avec le premier cuissot venu.
